California boy, 13, was doing 45mph on his e-motorcycle when he died, as his parents face child endangerment charges

Officials first put Benson Nguyen's speed at roughly 35mph, but the Santa Ana teenager was in fact doing 45mph when he hit a raised central divider in Garden Grove. He was riding a $4,299 Eride Pro SS 2.0 electric motorbike. His father Vu Thanh Nguyen, 56, and mother Hong Cuc Thi Nguyen, 49, could be jailed if convicted.

The crash happened in May, and prosecutors turned on his parents months later.

One TikTok clip shows him outrunning two police cars with sirens blaring.

Other videos show him pulling wheelies into oncoming traffic, balancing on one leg.
