Carragher demands Man City are stripped of titles and their owners removed after guilty verdict on ALL charges

Manchester City were found guilty on Tuesday of nearly all 115 financial charges brought by an independent Premier League commission, which concluded the club had used 'sham' contracts and falsified accounts to artificially inflate revenues and slash costs by over £900 million across nine seasons from 2009 to 2018. Jamie Carragher, speaking on Sky Sports, called for titles won in that period to be expunged and for the Abu Dhabi ownership group to be removed. No punishment has yet been handed down; that will be decided at a separate hearing. Man City say they are 'disappointed and surprised' and intend to appeal.
Man City won three Premier League titles, the FA Cup and three League Cups during the period covered by the charges — all of which Carragher argues should be wiped from the record.
Premier League chief executive Richard Masters called it 'the most significant disciplinary case in Premier League history', saying the club 'systematically broke the rules for nearly a decade'.
The club funnelled undisclosed payments through owner Abu Dhabi United Group, which secretly covered sponsorship fees that commercial partners were never actually required to pay in full.
