Cctv released Thames Valley Police hunt four males after two girls aged 14 are 'raped and sexually assaulted' in Oxford park

Four males lured two 14-year-old girls into a wooded area in Oxford last July, assaulting them sexually and raping them in broad daylight. The attack occurred between 5.15pm and 6pm on 28 July, after the girls got talking to the four males in Florence Park; two of the men then led them to a secluded section of nearby Marsh Park. A 20-year-old Oxford man arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault has been released on bail until 14 January 2027.
The suspect whose image was released on Friday has since been identified by police, though the wider investigation into all four males is ongoing.
A boy was arrested at the outset but subsequent enquiries established he had no involvement, and he was released without charge.
Det Con Sarah Tibble of the child abuse investigation unit told reporters that forensic examinations, ID parades and 'community outreach' have all been conducted — yet those responsible have still not all been identified.
