Cctv released Thames Valley Police hunt man on bike after two girls aged 14 are 'raped and sexually assaulted' in Oxford park

In Florence Park, Oxford, on 28 July, four unknown males approached the two victims and led them to a secluded wooded area of nearby Marsh Park, where both 14-year-old girls suffered rape and sexual assault in broad daylight between 5.15pm and 6pm. Thames Valley Police released CCTV footage Friday seeking a male they believe holds vital information, and a 20-year-old Oxford man arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault has been bailed until 14 January 2027.

Det Con Sarah Tibble said forensic examinations, ID parades and community outreach have all failed to identify the man in the CCTV image.

A boy who had been detained as part of the investigation was released without charge after police established he was not involved.

After the attacks, the girls made their own way out of the park and reported the incidents to police immediately.
