Celebrity Traitors fans think Amol Rajan is first murder victim after candle flicker clue in cliffhanger

BBC's 'Celebrity Traitors' series two returned with Maya Jama and Richard E. Grant revealed as this year's Traitors, and the episode ended on a cliffhanger as Claudia Winkleman slowly closed one of two coffins — with James Acaster and Amol Rajan as the candidates for the first murder. Fans have flooded X with theories pointing to Rajan as the victim, citing two key clues from the final scene.

Viewers noticed Maya and Richard appeared to glance to their right — where Rajan was lying — as Claudia shut the coffin.

A candle flicker on Maya's side of the chapel led many fans to conclude Acaster's coffin remained open and he survived.

Fans will find out for certain in tomorrow's episode, with the identity of the first murdered celebrity still officially unconfirmed.
