Alan Carr, who won the first Celebrity Traitors series, has tipped Miranda Hart to make "TV gold" if chosen as a Traitor, saying she "reminds me a bit of me." The BBC show launches tonight on BBC One with 21 celebrities competing for up to £100,000 for charity, hosted once again by Claudia Winkleman at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands. The line-up includes Richard E. Grant, Michael Sheen, Joe Lycett, Bella Ramsey and Maya Jama. Irish comedian Joanne McNally has emerged as the surprise dark-horse pick among analysts and Carr himself.
Claudia Winkleman revealed she is banned from wearing jewellery when secretly selecting her Traitors, in case it 'jangles' and gives the game away.
A mural celebrating the new series has gone up in Manchester's Northern Quarter ahead of tonight's 8pm BBC One premiere.
McNally joked she barely spotted herself in the show's trailers, questioning on Instagram whether she had actually taken part.
