Tonight BBC One's Celebrity Traitors returns for its second series at 8pm, with Alan Carr — winner of the first run — backing Miranda Hart to be "TV gold" should she be picked as a Traitor. Twenty-one celebrities travel to Ardross Castle to play for up to £100,000 for charity. Host Claudia Winkleman has revealed that producers forbid her from wearing jewellery during the Traitors-selection walk, so her expression betrays nothing. Joanne McNally has also attracted widespread attention as a dark horse, despite being among the lesser-known names in the star-studded cast.

Carr described McNally as a "whirlwind" and "motormouth," and several pundits have singled her out as the one to watch.

Claudia Winkleman said she deliberately chooses "clompy, noisy, scary shoes" to heighten tension during the round-table walk.

The line-up features Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsey, Richard E. Grant, Joe Lycett, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
