Season two of 'Celebrity Traitors' begins on BBC One tonight at 8pm, with 21 famous faces entering Ardross Castle to compete for a £100,000 charity prize pot. Irish comedian Joanne McNally has been singled out by multiple commentators — and last year's winner Alan Carr — as the contestant most likely to cause a surprise. Claudia Winkleman has also revealed production bosses ban her from wearing jewellery during the tense Traitors-selection walk, fearing even the faintest jangle could give the game away.
Series one winner Alan Carr described McNally as a 'whirlwind' and 'motormouth', and named Miranda Hart as his other dark-horse pick.
McNally herself joked on Instagram that she could barely spot herself in the show's promotional trailers, questioning whether she had actually taken part.
The line-up also includes Michael Sheen, Richard E Grant, Maya Jama, Bella Ramsey, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan — with Carr warning actors hold an 'unfair advantage' at deception.
