Rob Beckett is murdered face-to-face as Celebrity Traitors is rocked by racism row, leaked spoilers and cast fallouts
The 21-celebrity cast of *Celebrity Traitors* series two, one of whose unnamed members reportedly branded BBC producers "like human traffickers" over a strict phone ban during filming.
Rob Beckett discovered he had been killed face-to-face by traitors Maya Jama, James Acaster and Hannah Fry during a hide-and-seek game in episode five of Celebrity Traitors, airing Thursday night. James Acaster chose Beckett as "the random choice" to spread chaos, while Leigh-Anne Pinnock was spared after her fellow faithfuls gave her an immunity key. The show is simultaneously engulfed in off-screen scandals including a racism row, leaked spoilers and cast fallouts, with two weeks of filming still to air.
Hannah Fry was also banished in the same episode after her fellow traitors voted her out, with YouTuber King Kenny recruited to replace her.
A furious unnamed cast member compared producers to "human traffickers" after being denied phone calls home — though the rules were made clear before filming began.
Acaster claims a key exchange explaining why faithful Julie Hesmondhalgh was banished was edited out entirely, saying Blunt used it as "evidence of lying."
