Charli XCX lands a cameo in Martin Scorsese's horror film 'What Happens at Night' alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence

The Gothic psychological horror follows a married American couple who head to a snowy European town to adopt a baby while their marriage crumbles. Mads Mikkelsen, Patricia Clarkson and Jared Harris complete the cast, and the film is due out next year. Details of the 34-year-old Brat singer's character remain secret. Scorsese featured on the cover of her 'Music, Fashion, Film' album in July.

Her screen career began with voice roles in 'The Angry Birds Movie' and 'UglyDolls'.

'I feel unbelievably creative,' Charli said of her move into acting.
