Rachel Griffin Accurso, the children's entertainer known as Ms Rachel, has announced a $1 million donation to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, matching a pledge by rapper Macklemore after he was dropped from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour. Accurso, who has over 21 million YouTube subscribers and became a global PCRF ambassador in 2025, posted on Instagram calling on "every wealthy white celebrity" to do the same. Macklemore, real name Benjamin Haggerty, responded: "Wowwww... love you so much." The donations follow Sheeran's entire supporting lineup quitting his tour in protest at Macklemore's removal.
Macklemore was axed from the Loop Tour after shouting 'free Palestine' and performing protest song 'Hind's Hall' at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on 4 September.
All of Sheeran's remaining support acts — including Finneas, Lukas Graham and Irish singer Aaron Rowe — have since quit the tour in solidarity.
One social media critic demanded Accurso 'publish the organisations, the receipts, and the safeguards ensuring $0 ends up in Hamas' hands.'
