While dramatic CCTV footage of the Gyirong Port flash floods spread across global social media, only a single still-frame has aired on Chinese state television. China's heavily censored internet has made the full video almost impossible to find, with survivor testimony even harder to locate. Tibet's fraught history with Beijing — annexed in the 1950s and subject to periodic crackdowns — means the region's very name draws censors. Hundreds are dead and as many still missing since Wednesday's disaster.
