Constituent accused of threatening Jared Moskowitz's life is arrested near his Florida home, two years after an armed plot

Jared Moskowitz said the suspect is now in Palm Beach County jail after his arrest in Boca Raton, just a few miles from the Democrat's house. In 2024, John Lapinski was arrested near his home with a rifle, body armour and a manifesto naming only Moskowitz as a target. Lapinski got 25 years.

Moskowitz thanked state and local police for 'acting quickly' to protect his family.

'Since that moment, my kids live with police outside the house every day,' he said.

He faces Republican Scott Singer, a former Boca Raton mayor, in the 3 November election.
