Convicted bank robber is accused of hitting two Florida banks while on supervised release, disguised in a familiar 'old man' mask

David Sartin Jr., 40, of St Petersburg, faces two federal bank robbery charges. He previously spent more than 10 years behind bars for five Texas bank robberies committed using a similar disguise. Supervised release got under way for him in May 2025, after which he allegedly targeted Valley Bank in Largo on August 24 and a Truist Bank on September 15. FBI agents say gloves recovered by investigators match those seen during the holdups.
