Cornell gang-rape accuser Jane Doe says US university president Michael Kotlikoff doubted her claim as a no-confidence vote looms

Jane Doe claims Kotlikoff asked her sorority president: 'Why did she wait so long to report it?' Her letter to Cornell's Dean of Faculty and the Speaker of the Faculty Senate says his response left her feeling 'disbelieved'. She calls it 'an expression of doubt' in the truth of her account. Cornell insists the description of Kotlikoff's reaction is 'incorrect'.

Doe accused seven Chi Phi fraternity members of gang-raping her in October 2024.

Two students, Umar Matthew Ingalls and Jonathan Newell, were expelled from Cornell.

Doe also dropped her lawsuit against Orazio Petito after wrongly naming him chapter president.
