Counterterrorism police called in as pro-Palestine group targets UK defence executives' homes after vandalism spree
Counterterrorism officers are now assisting local forces after hooded activists slashed the tyres on one female executive's car and doused her house in red paint, as a pro-Palestine group called The List warns defence staff to 'quit your job'. At another home, 'baby killers' was sprayed across a garage. The List claims to have hit half a dozen homes linked to firms including Israeli weapons giant Elbit, and boasts of a bank of personal addresses gathered through hacking and leaks.
An engineer at Leonardo, which makes F-35 laser targeting kit, had two cars paint-splattered.
The owners of Touche Ltd, reportedly behind 194 arms exports to Israel, were also targeted.
Lord Walney, a former government adviser on political violence, branded it 'disturbing and inexcusable'.
