Couple who lost two children in a fire nine years ago are found dead at their home in Bray, Ireland

Jamie McGinn, 38, was found in the front garden with what appeared to be knife wounds. Bridget 'Biddy' O'Brien lay in an upstairs bedroom at their home on the Cois Cairn estate, Old Connaught Avenue. Gardaí believe violence played a part and have committed homicide-inquiry resources, but detectives are not seeking a third party. Postmortems and forensic tests will shape the investigation.

Holly, three, and Jordan, four, died in the 2017 Clondalkin apartment blaze.

O'Brien was placed in an induced coma and woke to learn her children were dead.
