Court is shown moment driver accused of murder overtook cars before allegedly hitting headteacher and dragging him 1.3 miles

Prosecutors claim Simon Richardson, 35, stopped and tried to dislodge the 'still-living' Michael Mullins before giving up and driving on. The 56-year-old was cycling home from Stretford Grammar School on April 20 when his foot became entangled in the Volvo's suspension. A doctor told jurors Mr Mullins survived the initial impact. Richardson denies murder and manslaughter at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court.
Witnesses said the black Volvo XC90 was 'absolutely tanking it' towards the Warburton junction.
Jurors heard Richardson's van sped away from police in Oldham the next day before an officer tackled him.
Prosecutor Phil Barnes KC told jurors: 'There is no way on earth' Richardson could not have known.
