'Cult mom' Lori Vallow Daybell will ask Idaho's Supreme Court to overturn her convictions for killing two of her children
Brandon Boudreaux, the man Lori Vallow Daybell is convicted of conspiring to murder, narrowly escaped being shot when a gunman fired at him outside his Arizona home in 2019, the bullet passing within inches of his head. Idaho's Supreme Court is set to hear her appeal on Monday against her three life sentences for killing her children Joshua 'JJ' Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 16, and conspiring to kill her husband's first wife.
Her lawyer argues she was denied a speedy trial and wrongly blocked from keeping her attorney of choice.
Vallow Daybell holds doomsday beliefs, claiming that people around her were under the control of evil spirits, and said her dead children are 'happy and busy' in the 'spirit world'.
Her husband Chad Daybell, who married her weeks after Tammy Daybell's death, was sentenced to death for the same three killings.
