Czech football coach goes viral for refusing to glance at glamorous reporter during entire post-match interview

David Oulehla, coach of Czech second division side FK Viagem Ústí nad Labem, became an internet sensation after footage showed him staring into the distance throughout a one-minute post-match interview with club presenter Sabina Jákšová, apparently determined not to look at her. The clip was posted on the club's Instagram and spread globally, with one viewer writing 'his level of self-control is biblical' and another declaring 'his wife is watching — total respect for his eye control.'

Oulehla reportedly explained himself simply: 'My wife is waiting for me at home, so I have to obey.'

Jákšová, who joined the club at the end of last season, has admitted her football knowledge is 'rather basic to minimal.'

Ústí nad Labem has form for going viral — the club attracted European attention in November 2024 when its marketing strategy of using presenters in revealing outfits made headlines across the continent.
