Dad, 46, who was given a year to live with kidney cancer is STILL alive 20 years later after immunotherapy
Quentin Webb, from Rickmansworth, calmly told doctors 'I don't feel like I'm dying' while his wife Helen broke down in tears. His GP reportedly never sent him for blood or urine tests, and a testicle scan 'found nothing'. A private second opinion in April 2006 wrongly blamed a varicocele. He is now in remission and has watched son Oakley grow up and graduate.
Oakley was just two when his father received the advanced kidney cancer diagnosis.
Webb, who competed in Dragon Boat racing at international level, had hobbies that included sailing and climbing.
