The lightsaber wielded by Darth Vader in the Cloud City duel where he tells Luke Skywalker "I am your father" is set to go under the hammer at Heritage Auctions on 12 November, with a pre-sale estimate of at least $1 million. The weapon, which also appeared in 'Return of the Jedi', is the centrepiece of the Ultimate Star Wars Auction, which will offer more than two dozen lightsaber props spanning Episodes I through IX.

The sale follows a record-breaking July auction in which a lightsaber with Luke Skywalker's severed hand sold for $3.75 million.

Boba Fett's EE-3 carbine blaster from 'The Empire Strikes Back' is expected to fetch more than $100,000.

A Yoda puppet hand used by Frank Oz and Anthony Daniels' signed personal third-draft screenplay for the original 1977 'Star Wars' are also among the lots.
