Deloitte posted global revenue of $74.5bn for the year to May, up from $70.5bn a year earlier, though its technology and transformation consulting arm weighed on overall growth. Asia Pacific was the strongest-performing region at 7.5 per cent, with tax and legal the fastest-growing practice at close to six per cent. Global CEO Joe Ucuzoglu described the firm's strategy as a "people-led, AI-powered approach," backed by a pledge of $3bn through 2030 to overhaul its operations. Headcount has grown to nearly 500,000 worldwide as the firm hired to keep pace with client demand.
The tech and transformation division was the standout weak point, holding back broader consulting performance.
