Delta Goodrem breaks down in tears at home as Strictly hosts send love after a rib injury forces her out

The Australian pop star has been in hospital twice since hurting her ribs in training, forcing her to sit out Icons Week. Host Emma Willis told viewers that, on the medical team's advice, Goodrem receives a bye to next week under Strictly rules. Johannes Radebe added: 'Delta my darling, we are all sending you so much love.' She replied: 'It's been a rough week.'

Goodrem filmed herself blowing a kiss to the hosts, saying: 'I love you too.'

Before the show she told fans: 'I've got my little seat ready and I've been recovering.'

The former Neighbours actress promised to share more about her setback 'over the next couple of days'.
