Mary Peltola's Democratic campaign secretly hunted for ANOTHER Dan Sullivan to split the Republican senator's vote in Alaska, report says

A covert Democratic operation — internally dubbed the "Ballot Composition Project" — spent months recruiting Alaskans named Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent Republican Senator Dan S. Sullivan and split his vote. An operative travelled across Alaska using pseudonyms, drinking with potential recruits in pubs, and the scheme even explored forming an entirely new party to further dilute Sullivan's support.

Peltola's fired campaign manager Elisa Rios stated that Peltola was 'definitely aware' of the scheme, though not its direct orchestrator.

The DOJ has filed a lawsuit warning a narrow Peltola win would be a 'tainted victory', given Dan J. Sullivan pulled 2.5% in the primary.

Trump responded by calling the plot 'a fraud on the American public' and demanding changes to the Alaska ballot.
