Detectives are granted more time to question woman, 27, over the shooting of a police officer in Nottingham

Seven people have now been arrested over the Angel Row shooting. They include a 30-year-old man held in Bedfordshire, who was sent back to prison for breaching his licence. Nottingham Magistrates' Court issued a warrant of further detention late on Wednesday. The 27-year-old woman is held on suspicion of GBH with intent and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.

The officer was hurt after approaching two people at 4.50am on Sunday and remains stable.

Police stopped a car in Radford on Sunday evening and arrested all three people inside.
