Detectives hunt two men seen 'acting suspiciously' in Wiltshire woods where army veteran dog walker, 64, was murdered

When Graham Pennycook's dog returned home without him on 24 September, his wife Jacky reported him missing at 15:41. He was later found dead that day in woods beside Perham Down polo field in Ludgershall. A post-mortem was required before investigators established he may have been killed. DCI Phil Walker is appealing for witnesses who spotted two men between 10am and 11am, or noticed vehicles being driven erratically.

DCI Walker believes people present at Perham Down that day have yet to come forward.

At the time of his death he was dressed in a grey zip-up gilet and a dark baseball cap, and was wearing reading glasses.

Jacky described her husband as "a pillar of strength, trusted by all".
