Diddy was beaten by Jamaican drug lord 'Dudus' Coke in prison fight that sent him to hospital, TMZ reports
Sean 'Diddy' Combs was taken by ambulance to hospital after a fall left him with a head injury, though he was conscious during the transfer and back behind bars before sunrise.Christopher 'Dudus' Coke was sentenced in 2012 to 23 years for drug and gun trafficking as leader of the Shower Posse cartel.
Sean Combs, 56, was attacked by Christopher "Dudus" Coke — the feared former boss of Jamaica's notorious Shower Posse — at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey during an outdoor recreation period last Friday. Coke reportedly targeted Combs because an NBC News exposé on Combs' lavish prison lifestyle triggered at least two raids that left other inmates stripped of contraband phones, including Coke's. Combs was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital around 1am Saturday but was back inside before 7am, conscious and talking, with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The assault undermines an earlier account in which Combs had simply struck his head on the bunk above him.
Coke, incarcerated since 2012 and serving a 23-year sentence, is reportedly the true power at Fort Dix, commanding considerable sway over the wider inmate population.
Following the altercation, both men were put in solitary confinement for two weeks, and Combs' release date has already been pushed back to March 2, 2028.
