Revolut has completed a funding round led by Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, T Rowe Price Associates and Baillie Gifford, lifting its valuation by more than 50 per cent from $75bn last year.

The valuation surge follows a string of licence wins, including Revolut's UK banking permit in March and new approvals in France, Colombia, Argentina and New Zealand.

Chief executive Nik Storonsky is targeting an IPO in 2028 and is exploring a dual listing in New York and London, though he has said he 'prefers' the US market.

At $115bn, Revolut is worth more than Barclays, BP and GSK combined on current market valuations.
