Newborn baby girl found dead on Welsh shoreline named 'Ceri' as desperate hunt for her mother continues
Residential streets near the Bangor shoreline where North Wales Police, under Operation Melex, are pressing their search for the mother of Ceri, a newborn girl found dead on 27 September.
A newborn baby girl found dead on the Bangor shoreline on 27 September has been named Ceri by investigators, as North Wales Police press on with the search for her mother under Operation Melex. Superintendent Llinos Davies has set up a 24-hour line for the mother alone, offering a trained specialist in complete confidence, and told her: 'Your welfare remains our utmost concern.'
'This is not a conversation you need to be afraid of,' health chief Fiona Giraud told the mother.
Anyone concerned about a woman or girl in recent months is urged to speak up, without accusations.
Davies urged the mother, if calling feels too hard, to tell a friend, relative, neighbour or anyone trusted.
