'Dodgy car boot sale, yes I remember that': Prince William recalls selling CDs as a boy to a Welsh customer he has just met again

Prince William dissolved into laughter during a visit to Skenfrith, Monmouthshire, after Rod Wyatt reminded him they had met before — at a bric-a-brac stall on the Glanusk Estate where a young William sold him a CD. The prince joked his CD-selling days had "dried up a bit" but perhaps he should reopen the stall. He was in Skenfrith to learn about flood defences ahead of the coming storm season, calling for a "holistic" approach to extreme flooding.

Rod Wyatt told William 'first time I met you, you were this high', prompting the laughter.

The Glanusk Estate near Crickhowell was the family home of William's 1990s nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke, now known as Alexandra Pettifer.

The Wyatt family has endured four major floods in six years at the Monmouthshire settlement.
