Dolly Parton's sister claims a Tennessee voting machine kept flipping her ballot to Republican Marsha Blackburn

Stella Parton, 77, says she had to go back three times at the Hermitage Library near Nashville because her choice kept reverting to Blackburn. She cast her ballot during early voting and posted about it on Facebook on Wednesday. 'I would never vote for her for anything,' she wrote. Blackburn faces Democrat Jerri Green in the race for Tennessee governor.

Parton urged voters to check their ballots: 'Don't let them rig this election.'

Several followers claimed similar problems at other Tennessee polling centres.

One voter said she had to press the button for Jerri Green three times before it registered.
