Dr Oz confronts New York care staff as federal agents raid day centres suspected of billing Medicaid for the dead

Medicare and Medicaid chief Dr Mehmet Oz claimed the 'Chinese mafia' may be paying people to help run the scam. He handed warning letters to Kent Senior Care and Evergreen Adult Day Care in Flushing, Queens, among more than 80 visits across the city on Tuesday. 'The whole experience was suspicious,' he said. Donald Trump and JD Vance unveiled a $25 million fraud whistleblower scheme the same day.
The FBI, IRS, NYPD and state agencies joined searches in Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Oz told Kent's director: 'The bills are much higher than they should be.'
Oz asked whether American taxpayers should be funding a room full of mahjong tables.
