Driver in her 70s is released from hospital after her car crashed into a Wolverhampton Lidl and killed a man

West Midlands Police say officers will speak to the woman "in due course" after she was discharged on Saturday. Sergeant Chloe Collins has appealed for dashcam footage and for anyone who saw a blue Renault Zoe on Finchfield Hill between 5pm and 6pm on Friday. Paramedics believe the driver suffered a medical incident at the wheel. Two people remain in hospital.

The man in his 30s was inside the store and got advanced life support at the scene.

Lidl has shut the Finchfield Hill store until further notice, saying its 'hearts go out' to his family.

Witness Tina Bonev called it 'absolutely terrifying' as a man shouted: 'Everyone get out the store.'
