EastEnders' Barry actor Shaun Williamson leads a singalong of Slade's 'Merry Christmas Everybody' in Lidl's festive advert with Chris Kamara

Lidl's 2026 Christmas campaign, titled 'Lidl Christmas Everybody', reworks Slade's festive anthem with Shaun Williamson door-stepping neighbours bearing bags of Lidl food and gifts. Former footballer Chris Kamara, Capital FM presenter Kemi Rodgers and comedian Abi Clarke join the singalong. Williamson said he 'jumped at the chance to help Lidl kick off the festive season in style'.

The advert coincides with the return of Lidl's Toy Bank, running November 5 to December 16, which has distributed more than 250,000 toys.

Lidl says its Christmas food range — featuring turkeys, mince pies and chocolate gonks — has received more than 160 awards and endorsements this year.

Marketing director Joanna Gomer promises 'more festive surprises still to come' beyond the launch campaign.
