Shaun Williamson, best known as Barry Evans in EastEnders, fronts Lidl's 2026 Christmas campaign with a reworked version of Slade's 'Merry Christmas Everybody', retitled 'Lidl Christmas Everybody'. The music video sees Williamson touring his neighbours' homes laden with Lidl Christmas goodies, gathering a singing crowd as he goes.

Former Pompey footballer Chris Kamara, Capital FM presenter Kemi Rodgers and comedian Abi Clarke all join Williamson in the campaign.

Lidl says its Christmas food range has received more than 160 awards and endorsements this year, with turkeys, mince pies and chocolate gonks among the featured products.

The advert coincides with Lidl's Toy Bank drive, running November 5 to December 16, which has so far distributed more than 250,000 toys through charity network Neighbourly.
