Shaun Williamson, best known as Barry Evans in EastEnders, fronts Lidl's 2026 Christmas campaign in a reworked version of Slade's 'Merry Christmas Everybody', titled 'Lidl Christmas Everybody'. The music video sees him touring neighbours' homes laden with Lidl festive goods, building a singalong crowd as he goes.
Former footballer Chris Kamara, Capital FM presenter Kemi Rodgers and comedian Abi Clarke all appear alongside Williamson.
Williamson said putting 'a fresh spin on such an iconic Christmas classic was brilliant fun' and hoped it would spread 'a little Christmas magic'.
The campaign runs alongside the return of Lidl's Toy Bank, which collects unopened gifts for charity from November 5 to December 16.
