Edenbridge Bonfire Society has unveiled an 11-metre effigy of FIFA president Gianni Infantino, depicting him with dollar bills stuffed into his ears and clutching a golden trophy bearing Trump's severed head — a pointed jab at the new 'FIFA Peace Prize' Infantino awarded the US president this year.
The society says Infantino 'thoroughly deserves' the honour after suspending a red card given to US striker Folarin Balogun at Trump's personal request during the World Cup.
Infantino also faced calls to resign after proposing to sell private investment stakes in World Cup broadcast rights — a plan he later scrapped under pressure.
The effigy, ready in just six days, also features a Manchester City shirt and a 'Presidents for Dummies: how to make billions' book; it will be burned on Saturday 7 November.
