David Beamer, father of Flight 93 hero Todd Beamer, appears in a campaign video for Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers attacking El-Sayed for refusing to fully disavow streamer Hasan Piker, who once said America 'deserved 9/11'. El-Sayed's Jewish outreach has also backfired after a Rosh Hashanah video drew 'tokenism' accusations from a Democratic state lawmaker. Around 500 Jewish Democrats and independents have signed an open letter backing Rogers instead.
