Elon Musk's SpaceX beats Wall Street forecasts as its revenue jumps 161% to $14.58bn on AI and Starlink growth

SpaceX made a $4.4bn profit, nearly triple the $1.57bn Wall Street expected and up from a $1.1bn loss a year earlier. AI took $16.4bn of its $19.6bn capital spending, mostly on data centres rented to Anthropic and Google. Elon Musk said independent committees at SpaceX and Tesla are weighing a merger. 'Do I think it would be a good idea? Yes,' he said.

Musk boasted that '$1T in SpaceX revenue in 2028 is no longer impossible.'

Zelenskyy accused SpaceX of restricting military Starlink; Musk insisted Washington controls it.

SpaceX's $2.01 trillion valuation puts it at roughly 13 times Boeing's market worth.
