Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis has dashed fans' hopes of an Oasis headline slot in 2027, replying "Sorry Jimmy, not this time!" to a follower on Instagram who pleaded for the Gallaghers to appear. Speculation had surged after Oasis announced their 38-date Live '27 tour with a conspicuous gap in their schedule covering the Glastonbury weekend of June 26-27. Liam Gallagher had already poured cold water on the idea last month, telling fans on X "it's not happening."
Eavis has also ruled out Madonna, saying "it's definitely not Madonna" while confirming all three 2027 headliners are already booked.
Logistical hurdles made Glastonbury unlikely regardless — Oasis have not played three consecutive nights at any point on either tour, and moving crew from Manchester to Somerset inside 24 hours would be a major challenge.
Harry Styles and Sam Fender are among the acts tipped to top the Pyramid Stage bill, with Taylor Swift — booked before COVID cancelled the 2020 festival — also among fans' most-wanted.
