Emirates check-in worker who funded a boob job by helping gangs smuggle cash was filmed stashing £100,000, court hears

Emma Rauf, 34, an Emirates check-in attendant at Manchester Airport, waved gangsters and their cash-stuffed suitcases through — even waiving excess baggage charges — as part of a £30 million conspiracy to smuggle criminal money to Dubai. She spent the proceeds on breast enhancement surgery, a Louis Vuitton handbag, Valentino shoes, a diamond ring and a Rolex. Bolton Crown Court heard her sentencing after she admitted money laundering.
Rauf and her brother Ben Royle collected £406,500 in total, stashed in her car boot on her parents' drive — then a gunman sprayed the house with bullets and stole it.
Caught on CCTV with a bag so stuffed its sides were 'collapsing', she told the court it held only 'about £15,000' plus her passport and jewellery.
Other gang members were jailed for a combined total of nearly 30 years earlier this month.
