Strictly need to be careful pre-recording (some) links because the sudden cut from Johannes to Emma and Josh is enough to give you whiplash, in a picture posted on X by TV Zone Extra.Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke in Halloween costume on the Strictly ballroom floor — Motsi caught Josh Widdicombe off guard with a mid-show scare that sent him to the floor, prompting Emma Willis to declare it "2-0" to the judges.
Lawrence Robb, 34, and professional partner Jowita Przystal were eliminated unanimously after the Ghostbusters tango left them second from bottom on the leaderboard with just 26 points out of 40. The triple dance-off — a first in Strictly's history — saw them compete against House of the Dragon star Bethany Antonia with Nancy Xu and actress Jaime Winstone with Carlos Gu. Motsi Mabuse, who held the deciding vote, confirmed she would also have chosen to eliminate them had her vote been needed.
Robb and Przystal scored the lowest of the three bottom couples; the show returns to its standard two-couple dance-off from next week.
The results show also featured a cameo from Sir Ian McKellen, who read from Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' during the professionals' Halloween group routine.
Head judge Shirley Ballas had drawn viewer fury on Saturday after handing Winstone a frosty five for her salsa, with fans accusing her of favouring male celebrities.
