Emmerdale producer Sophie Roper has confirmed that Patsy Kensit's Sadie King return is building to an explosive climax, with "incredible twists and unexpected revelations" ahead before Kensit finishes filming in December. Sadie is now working with Joe Tate on a scheme to destroy Caleb and Ruby Miligan's marriage by seducing Caleb, though she is finding him a tougher target than expected due to his loyalty to Ruby. Cain Dingle remains suspicious of Sadie's motives and has warned Caleb she will ruin his life.

Sadie is manipulating Ruby by faking a confession about a controlling relationship, exploiting Ruby's own experience as an abuse survivor to break down her defences.

Thea Ramsden is also plotting revenge on Kim Tate, secretly orchestrating a police stop to gain Kim's trust before destroying her.
