The Equality and Human Rights Commission has written to Nigel Farage's party demanding details of what steps Reform is taking to comply with the Equality Act 2010, having received complaints that allege unlawful activity. The letter follows ITV's documentary 'Undercover: A Year in Reform', which aired in October and captured members using racist and misogynistic language on camera.

Reform councillor and Solihull deputy mayor Alan Feeney was filmed calling Asian homeowners 'parasites' and claiming no more than 1% of Britain's population should be non-white.

A Bromley councillor was recorded making comments that included calls for King Charles to be killed, while Reform MP Sarah Pochin described the party as 'chauvinistic' and riven with 'alpha male shit'.

Reform has reported ITV journalists to police and announced it intends to sue the broadcaster, insisting it has fully met its Equality Act obligations.
