Joanne Young, 49, of Swindon, told Winchester Crown Court she had been drugged and restrained by her husband Philip Young, 50, before waking up blindfolded to find an unknown man in her bedroom — she fled naked to her en suite and locked the door. Young, a former Tory councillor who has already pleaded guilty to drugging and abusing her throughout their 20-year marriage, had posted her photographs on Craigslist, Grindr and swinging websites; the images showed her "inanimate and tied to the bed blindfolded". Four men — Connor Sanderson Doyle, 32, Norman Macksoni, 48, Mohammed Hassan, 38, and Richard Wilkins, 62 — are on trial accused of sexually assaulting her; all deny the charges.

Young told Joanne he had been 'looking in forums' and had brought someone to 'watch us have sex'.

Prosecutors say Young would source men online and bring them in to rape his wife as he looked on, "relishing their degradation of her".

Joanne, described in court as 'emphatically monogamous' with 'vanilla' sexual tastes, said she had no idea the attacks were happening.
