Family of 'much-loved' dad who died when a car crashed into a Wolverhampton Lidl urge people to stop sharing footage

James Singh Jagpal, 39, a father of two daughters from Wolverhampton, died at the scene after a blue Renault Zoe driven by a woman in her 70s smashed through the glass doors of the Finchfield Hill Lidl on Friday 23 October. His family have issued a heartfelt tribute praising his "kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humour" and urged the public to stop sharing distressing footage of the aftermath circulating on social media.
The elderly driver suffered a "medical incident" at the wheel; discharged from hospital, she is to be interviewed by West Midlands Police in due course.
The two other women injured in the crash have since been discharged from hospital; police are asking anyone driving near Finchfield Hill between 5pm and 6pm on Friday to come forward.
His family described James as "the absolute centre of our world," adding it is "unimaginable how we will navigate life without him."
