Family of Mississippi boy, 1, who was shot dead by police says bodycam video shows his killing was not justified
On June 14, five officers pursued two women suspected of taking diapers and baby clothes from the store.
Footage shows driver Latoya Ferrell driving the car into officers before shots were fired.
Officers can be heard demanding she 'stop the car' in the seconds leading up to the shooting.
Kohen Wiley's mother, Vellesiya Wiley, says she lifted her son into view so that officers outside a Walmart in Senatobia could see there was an infant in the car. Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch has exonerated the officers, concluding that their use of force was justified. Police reportedly admitted 'nobody knew the baby was there'. Attorney Ben Crump says both women deny shoplifting.
