Kaley Cuoco, 40, has announced the birth of her second daughter, Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey, born on 12 October and nicknamed 'Philo'. The Big Bang Theory actress shared intimate hospital photos on Instagram alongside a heartfelt message to her fiancé Tom Pelphrey, 44, calling him 'girl daddy'. The couple already have three-year-old daughter Matilda, who was photographed at home wearing a 'Big Sister' T-shirt awaiting her sibling's arrival.
Both of Philomena's middle names reportedly honour family members, a tradition the couple also followed with Matilda.
Pelphrey, who won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in September for his role in HBO's 'Task', joked after his win about 'switching rooms' and 'laughing at how different it is from one to two.'
Philomena is a rare vintage name of Greek origin meaning 'lover of strength' that has not appeared in the US top 1,000 girls' names since 1942.
