Family pay tribute to 'much-loved' mum found dead in Manchester home as woman, 26, is held in murder probe

Police were summoned to a disturbance at a property on Crondall Street in Moss Side at around 1.30pm on Monday, where Yvonne Kemp, 57, was found dead. The 26-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act. Greater Manchester Police have launched a murder investigation. Relatives released a photograph of Kemp with her partner, Tom Grant.

Her family said she 'would do anything for anyone, always putting others before herself'.

Detective Chief Inspector Louise Edwards said police believe it was an isolated incident with no wider threat.

Relatives described her as a mum, nana, sister and auntie whose defining qualities were a 'caring heart, strength and kindness'.
